Rachel Galbraith, RP
For over two decades I have been dedicated to exploring mental health and counselling. I have been in the role of client and counsellor and know the deep, life changing work that can happen within this dynamic.
I have found that people come to counseling at different stages in their lives for a whole host of reasons. Perhaps you have experienced a great loss, feel stagnant in life, or are overwhelmed by your current circumstance. Or perhaps you have found yourself repeating the same cycles of behaviour and are unsure how to break free from those patterns.
Regardless of what is making you consider counseling at this time I want to assure you that you are not alone. I view the counseling relationship as a co-creative dynamic between an expert (you) and a compassionate and non-judgmental guide (the counselor). While I have no experience living your unique and complex life, I do bring to the relationship a map and tools to help you navigate the different emotional terrain you may find yourself. Together we will work to draw out your natural and learned strengths, and tap into your inner wisdom to help move through this difficult season of your life.
